Family togetherness at Copper

A great place for a family with different skiing abilities. we were able to divide up (black, green, blue runs) and easily reconnect for lunch or apres ski. Lots of good food at the restaurants

A great place to take your family!

Copper Mountain We arrived after the MLK long weekend and had the mountain to ourselves. We signed all 3 kids up for ski lessons and the instructors were great. My 3 year was scared to go to his lesson but we were able to reschedule him for the next day after he got used to the idea. The mountain had enough variety for our family from our 15 year old who wanted to tear up the mountain to my 6 year old daughter who loved the green runs. The dining was great as well in the village and we had fun skating on the pond and going on the toboggan run.
I would definitely recommend Copper Mountain for a family ski trip.

So much better than I thought

Copper was such a blast. Every local we came across let us know that Copper was the place to go in colorado. It truly was so much fun. Not that many people in your way, they hosted the Gran Prix while we were there, which was pretty neat. The only thing I wish they had was night skiing.

Copper

It was all great. Great price for everything. No complaints. The only suggestion is for the daycare to take the kids outside. I asked why they couldn't, and they said "high numbers". My little ones still saw snow with us sledding but that is the only suggestion I have.

copper mountain

great mountain for all levels. very economical compared to many of the other facilities I checked on before booking this. friendly staff and lifts are good. upbeat atmosphere with plenty of places to eat. we didn't eat out as we had a kitchen in our condo. the grocery store is adequate for simple stuff so we got by quite well.

Awesome place! Family friendly!

The covered bridge neighborhood is the heart of Copper! Everything you could need or want was within a 3 minute walk! We stayed in Tucker Mtn Lodge, 2 bedroom condo, literally 200 yards to the American Eagle lift. Two families, 2 kids, units are a bit small, but location location location!! We NEVER MOVED the rental car from when we parked! Great restaurants from CB's (a little more formal) to Endo's (GREAT wings and burgers and of course cold beer!) Don't miss the Crepe store! Honestly best place we have stayed and skied in Colorado. Love Vail, Breck's awesome - Copper is special. Very reasonably priced, only sticker shock was the $48 lunch over at ski school -- wife and I had two bowls of soup, 2 bottles water and crackers, chicken fingers (3) and fries! YIKES. Ate at CB's for $75 including wine!

Would not hesitate going back!! Highly recommend!

Copper Mountain is a great resort for either a quick getaway or a longer stay. Most of the lodging at the resort is walk to slope with only a few larger townhomes being a short free shuttle ride away. The resort offers a wide variety of activities and amenities including great skiing and riding terrain for all ability levels, an Alpine Coaster, on mountain snow tubing park, a large Clubhouse with lap pool, hot tubs, steam room and sauna, fitness center and on-site Spa, and Camp Woodward. There is a wide array of dining choices available throughout the two main village areas as well. You can get delicious $10 fish taco platters at Mahi's Street Tacos, mac'n'cheese entrees of all varieties at Mountain Melt, or sushi at the Storm King Sushi Lounge. During my recent visit we enjoyed a craft beer, creative apps, and wood-fired pizzas for dinner at Ten Mile Station and then started our next morning wit made to order fresh donuts at Sugar Lips Mini Donuts (this was a big hit with my 4 year old).

All and all Copper Mountain offers convenience and a fun atmosphere for friends and family alike.
