La Casa on the Mountain is a unique condo property located close to the slopes on Ski Trail Lane. These spacious condos are all multi-level, providing plenty of space to both relax and entertain. You will not find condos on the mountain in Steamboat with this much square footage in this price range. Each condo offers a large kitchen, living area with gas fireplace, laundry room, and a balcony with mountain or valley views.

La Casa has two outdoor hot tubs to enjoy after a day on the mountain and a BBQ area. There is covered parking (one space per unit) located adjacent to the condo and an overflow parking area for any extra cars. Or leave your car at home and use the complimentary winter shuttle service, or in the summer, hop on the free Steamboat city bus.

Trip Cancellation Policy

CHANGES:

  • A $100.00 per person change fee will be assessed per change on any deposited reservation.
  • Client will pay for any actual penalties assessed or rate changes incurred by the lodging, airline or other vendors.

CANCELLATION-REFUND-NO SHOW:

  • Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to arrival will be assessed $100.00 per person plus any fees and/or penalties assessed by the Lodging establishment and other vendors.
  • If notice of cancellation is received 30 days or less prior to arrival, package is non-refundable. There is no refund for late arrival or early departure.
  • No show, no refund.
  • If purchasing airline tickets through us, they will be non-refundable once ticketed as mandated by the airlines.

La Casa stay

Our unit was very roomy and perfect for 6 guest and is walking distance from mountain lifts. I would definitely stay at La Casa again, but would prefer another unit. This unit was very dated and needs some TLC to say the least. Some of the item are minor and could have been corrected during our stay if we would have reported them. We were there to ski and did not take the time. Electric stove, only the small burner was operational and made it difficult to cook anything requiring more than a saucer size pot. The unit was well stocked with utensils and cookware, but fresh inventory is needed. No ice maker. Ice trays limit the amount of ice produced daily. Fortunately had 3 potato peelers, because only one worked. I didn't throw the 2 away, because I didn't want to pay for missing items. Had trouble finding a coffee mug that was not cracked. Fire place in one bedroom dispersed a burning odor when turned on, I did not turn the one on in my bedroom for this reason. Dirty sock left by cleaning crew in the living area. Carpet unattached from tack strips in locations. There are 2 locked owners closets, leaving no place for the down stairs guest to leave their gear besides in the middle of the floor. Limited hot water, but that may be norm for that complex. The bunk room is a closet with bunk bed set crammed in it. If bunks were built in, they would be much easier to access. I did not utilize or check all the items, but experienced the above with the items I did. Again, we had a great stay, but wanted the owner to know of some of the issues to enable them to get management company to address.
