The best skiing we have had
The skiing was the best that we have had out west. The lift lines were great on Friday no waiting and on Saturday not longer than 5 minutes at any lift. We stayed mid mountain and we were close to the lifts less than a 10 minute walk. There were a limited number of restaurants in the area which was the only downside
12 day long stay at unit 202 of Trials end lodge
Overall it was a 5 star experience with this being our second trip to deer valley. Hotel, service, location, access to slopes, etc was ideal. The unit was very comfortable, clean, serviced promptly every morning, service staff welcoming and very efficient. Deer vally a pleasure to ski, little waiting time on the lifts (except one day that Parc¡k City was closed so we got that crowd)
Beautiful accommodations
The unit was beautiful and well maintained. The only complaint is it is right in the street so we heard the snow plows late at night and early in the morning.
Amazing!
Top notch service in all areas! Can’t give a higher rating!
We loved Deer Valley
This spring, my kids and I had a wonderful time skiing at Deer Valley. The mountain and services were fabulous - check your skis and boots for free at the mountain, so no lugging them back and forth to the hotel. My 13 year old daughter attended two full days of ski school (Teen Escape) and loved it. They broke the kids into groups by gender and ability. She made friends and had a great time. After several years of not skiing, I took three lessons to get back skills that had clearly atrophied. I had an overall good experience - no more than 4-5 in a group, but the class was geared more to "learning by doing." I did improve this way, but the instructors felt more like a tour guides. On my third day, I had an awesome instructor and really improved, so I think it might be the luck of the draw in terms of instruction. For the time of year we skied, there were no lines at the chair lifts. Tons of terrain - nice greens and blues for me. Advanced blues and blacks for my kids. Something for everyone (and we loved that there were no snow boarders -- don't mean to offend anyone, but they are a little disconcerting for an "evergreen" skier like me.) Thank you to ski.com's Kamlyn for helping me to pull this impromptu mini-break together in a week.
Fabulous Vacation
Great skiing, well-conditioned slopes, excellent express lift system, exceptional food and quality service throughout our stay. Easy access to the town of Park City and its shopping and restaurants.
Spring Break Ski Trip
Beautiful Area. Nice employees/transit workers/skiers. Beautiful Mid-mountain facilities close to ski lift.
Average Ski Resort
Based on what I heard from others about how wonderful Deer Valley is, it definitely did not quite measure up. It is a nice place ski, it is not any better than other resorts I have skied. It definitely would not be in my top five.
Deer Valley Ski Resort
Very crowded. We were there on a Sunday. Lifts and on-mountain facilities were good. Runs well groomed

Deer Valley, the well-groomed luxury resort!
I like skiing corduroy, and Deer Valley uses more grooming equipment to produce it than any of its Wasatch Mountain range neighbors. It is located next to Park City and Canyons Resort, and only about 36 miles from the Salt Lake City airport. I love the upscale lodging, high-touch service and the awesome skiing, but don’t bring your snowboards here! Deer Valley is one of the last holdouts that still prohibits snowboarding. I don’t worry about crowds though, as Deer Valley has one of the highest uphill lift capacities of any of its neighbors and it limits its total daily ticket sales to match its capacity. If you are like me and appreciate a stress free luxury vacation Deer Valley should be at the top of your list. Call me today and lets discus the options.Good
