Sweet 4* Stay in Chamonix
My stay at the Hotel L Heliopic Sweet & Spa was quite enjoyable. This is a new hotel, only about 2 years old and it's so convenient to the adjacent Aiguille du Midi cable car. Since it's located in the south side of the village, it's a bit quieter at night than staying in the center of town, but it was only a half block walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel is done in a nice contemporary décor and while my room wasn't huge it was very comfortable and nicely appointed. The breakfast was fantastic - huge buffet with all sorts of hot and cold items. The restaurant is light and airy. The front desk and ski shop staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.
