    Breckenridge Restaurants

Breckenridge restaurants truly dish out something for everyone. Regardless of what you’re craving, there’s somewhere in Breckenridge that serves it up. The downtown Breckenridge restaurants are on Main Street and one street up on Ridge Street. You’ll find quaint cafes, fine dining options, affordable bar food, popular vacation destination restaurants, and atmospheric spots unique to Breckenridge.

    Downtown Breckenridge Restaurants

Although downtown Breckenridge is a charming, little mountain town, the restaurants along Main Street, Park Avenue, and Ridge Street feel like what you’d find in a big city. The Whale’s Tail has been a longtime Breckenridge hotspot because of the happy hour deals on fresh seafood. The nautical antiques inside the Whale’s Tail make for a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, and the menu is stacked with seafood, steaks, and pasta. The Motherloaded Tavern and Fatty’s Pizzeria are two local favorites. Comfort food, like chicken and waffles, is the m.o. at Motherloaded and the best pizzas in town are to be found at Fatty’s. Barbeque lovers will love Kenosha, a Breckenridge local favorite for pulled pork and beef brisket.

    Breckenridge Fine Dining

Heatherstone Restaurant and Relish are two spots you must check out if you’re looking for fine dining in Breckenridge. Heatherstone is set in an historic and gorgeous Victorian home on Ridge Street, and the menu has earned the title of “Best Restaurant in Summit County” by local readers of the Summit County Daily News. The baked escargot and duck confit are enough to warrant a reservation at Relish, and those are just the starters. The views from the dining room in Relish compliment the terrific entrees and appetizers that chef/owner Matthew Fackler prepares, and Relish’s wine list and handpicked craft beers will impress even the most blasé connoisseur.

    On-Mountain Breckenridge Restaurants

Sevens, at the base of Peak 7, is the lone sit-down restaurant on-mountain at Breckenridge. Most Breckenridge restaurants, like The Maggie and Ten Mile Station at Peak 9 and the Ski Hill Grill at Peak 8, are geared towards getting you fueled up and back on the slopes. The on-mountain restaurants in Breckenridge are great, but thanks to Breckenridge’s accessibility and convenience it’s always possible to head into town for lunch and get back on the hill if you’re in need of a rest.

Our experienced Mountain Vacation Specialists have been visiting Breckenridge restaurants for the last 30 years, just ask. They'll give you a tip or two on where to get the best of the best.
